Our design process
When we first started learning how to make coffee at home, we went through more cups than we’d like to admit — mostly because our latte art just wasn’t working the way we hoped. That trial-and-error taught us something important: the cup matters more than you think.
When designing our cups, we kept coming back to three non-negotiables.
1) First, the rounded base. We noticed that cups with sharp corners made milk behave unpredictably, often breaking the pour. A rounded interior allows the milk to flow smoothly into the espresso. This makes latte art feel more natural and forgiving.
2) Next, the wide opening. Whether you’re going for an intricate rosetta or a simple, fluffy heart, a wider surface gives you better control and lets you move your pitcher freely.
3) Lastly, the double-walled design. We love the clean look of handle-free cups, but comfort matters just as much. The double layer keeps the cup comfortable to hold while your coffee stays warm.
Every detail came from our own experience behind the machine. Nothing more than what’s needed. Just cups designed to make your coffee moments a little more enjoyable.
